Singapore Certified Energy Manager Course (SCEM) - Associate Level

Introduction

The programme envisions an SCEM as:

The SCEM Programme offers formal training and certification system in the area of energy management. There are 2 certifiable training levels from SCEM namely Associate and Professional levels. The Associate level SCEM training focuses on skill training and practical development in energy auditing works, installations, measurements and instrumentations. Each individual needs to undertake 4 core and 2 elective modules. The Associate Level SCEM takes 173-hours in total to complete. Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) and Singapore Polytechnic are registered training providers to offer the for SCEM Associate Programme. 

At the end of the programme, the participant will be able to:

  • Assist in conducting energy audit measurements and data logging
  • Undertake basic efficiency evaluation of energy & utility systems
  • Compare energy norms with existing energy consumption levels
  • collect and analyse measured data
  • Assist in the preparation of measurements, monitoring and verification report
  • Workplace safety and health management

Course Fee : S$1200 per module
