SEAS Business Mission to COP28 (Dubai) 3 - 7 Dec 2023
The Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS) is gearing up for COP28, where we will actively be a part of the global conversation on the ongoing climate crisis. Our mission is clear - to drive forward the Net Zero agenda in ASEAN. As part of the collective effort to catalyse climate action, the SEAS team will join a cohort of Singapore's leading climate change actors from both the public and private sectors at the Singapore Pavilion in the United Nations Blue Zone.
Scaling Clean Energy in ASEAN - A New Era, New Opportunities, and New Challenges
As part of the Energy and Decarbonisation track at the Singapore Pavilion programme, SEAS will be hosting a panel discussion entitled: "Scaling Clean Energy in ASEAN - A New Era, New Opportunities, and New Challenges."
With ASEAN at a critical juncture in its clean energy transition, the region faces unique challenges in meeting its energy needs while combatting the effects of climate change. To meet the COP28 agenda for global action on climate change, the Asia-Pacific region has a vital role to play, particularly as the region is one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases. The panel discussion will delve into the intricacies of scaling clean energy in this dynamic region, bringing together esteemed panellists from KPMG, Energetix Pte Ltd, Resync Technologies, Climate Resources Exchange International and AirCarbon Exchange.
