Er. Edwin T.F. Khew, is the Chairman, Director and Co-Founder of AirCarbon Pte Ltd, a blockchain based digital platform to trade digital carbon and invest in sustainable projects. He is also a former Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) and currently the Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), an Emeritus President of The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), a Supervisory Board Member of Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and a Board member of the Professional Engineers’ Board (PEB) Singapore. Er. Khew represents SEAS on the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Energy for All Partnership’s (E4ALL) Steering Committee as its Co-Chair and Chairman of its Enterprise Development Working Group.

Mr. Christophe Inglin is a veteran of the solar photovoltaics (PV) industry since 1996, with experience throughout the value chain from silicon ingots to turnkey solar power plants. Since 2015 he is Co-founder and Managing Director of Energetix Pte Ltd, which designs, installs, and maintains rooftop solar power plants and utility-scale solar farms in SE Asia. His previous roles in the sector were as Managing Director of Siemens Showa Solar & Shell Solar in Singapore, then as co-founder and MD of Phoenix Solar Pte Ltd.

Mr. Frank Phuan belongs to the second generation of a solar industry business that has been established for over 35 years. Together with his team, Frank helped grow a 5-man operation in Singapore to a 100 staff regional business spanning across regions including Singapore, Malaysia, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines and Australia.

Frank has over 20 years of experience in the solar industry leading numerous projects and public speeches involving solar systems technologies, sustainability strategy, green buildings and infrastructure, greenhouse gas emission reduction, solar farm and rooftop solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) projects across the Asia Pacific.

 

Sandra is a corporate lawyer who specialises in energy and infrastructure laws. Sandra has extensive experience in public projects and regulatory work in Singapore and has advised state agencies such as Energy Market Authority, Energy Market Company, Building & Construction Authority, Jurong Town Corporation, Ministry of Health, Tripartite Alliance Limited and People's Association. She is an experienced transactional lawyer for large scale infrastructure projects and tenders, being experienced in PPP, power imports, PPA, EPC, state leasing and technical contracts. Sandra is the lead coordinator for a large number of public projects in Singapore, including the recent projects for generation planting and low-carbon solutions for bunkering and power generation. She advised on the first energy performance contract template for SGBC/BCA and the first sectoral competition appeal in the gas sector for EMA. Sandra has spoken widely on decarbonisation, governance and greenwashing issues. She is the legal counsel to SEAS, SGBC, GCNS and WMRAS and is the advisor to a local children’s charity.

Mr. Vincent Low,

Peter has over 20 years’ experience encompassing Project Investment, Private Equity and Sustainable Finance. He focuses on origination, evaluation, execution and management of investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the Asia-Pacific region. He managed the financing programme with The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), a government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry between 2013 and 2021. 

Prior to joining SDCL, he was an investment professional in the Global Special Opportunities at HSBC Principal Investments focusing on renewable energy and clean technology. Peter was involved in a number of HSBC’s investments including a fuel cell manufacturer, a solar panel manufacturer and an electric car infrastructure services company. He managed HSBC’s renewable energy portfolio companies.

Vincent Low is the Founder and Vice President of G – Energy Holdings Pte. Ltd. (Singapore). He is also a Qualified Energy Services Specialists (QuESS) accredited by National Environment Agency & Building  and Construction Authority and Certified Green Mark Advanced Accredited Professional (Cert. GM AAP) accredited by Building  and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore.

Low Kian Beng (KB) is the Co-Founder and Director of Zero Carbon Habitat Pte Ltd. ZCH is an integrated environmental solution, management, consulting and advisory company which promotes the development of sustainable businesses and implement Net-Zero Carbon projects, that will contribute towards the decarbonization & ESG Goals of organizations in Singapore and the regions. 

He has more than 30 years of senior management experience in various industries that cover renewable energy, water, air pollution, resource recovery, petrochemicals and infrastructure / DBO project for Private-Public-Partnership. 

Mr. Vinod Kesava is a carbon market entrepreneur and is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Climate Resources Exchange (CRX) and the CRX CarbonBank. A pioneer in carbon markets since 2003, Vinod leads a team of highly qualified professionals in uniquely designing, developing and implementing carbon pricing roadmaps in addition to carbon profiling of both organizations and cities.

Dr. Sanjay C Kuttan,

Soo Earn leads Deloitte Southeast Asia Financial Advisory practice. He has extensive deal experience in leading and supporting strategic and financial investors in their domestic and cross border transactions. He has also supported owners in divesting their business and entrepreneurs in accessing growth capital. Given his technical expertise in valuation and deals, he has acted as an independent expert on a number of dispute cases, handled numerous valuation and modelling engagements for M&A, regulatory & taxation, and financial reporting purposes.

 

Dr. Sanjay Chittarajan Kuttan is currently, Chief Technology Officer of the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation after completing almost 3 years as Executive Director of the Singapore Maritime Institute, previously since 1994 been in both private and public sector i.e., R&D ( Programme Director at the Energy Research Institute at the Nanyang Technological University),  line management (AP Technical Response Manager at ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, 10 years), business development (Business Development Manager at Mobil Oil Australia, 2 years); policy and program management (Energy Market Authority, 2 years) to management consulting (Petroleum Practice Expert/Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, 4 years) and business leadership (Managing Director, Clean Technology Centre and Country manager, DNVGL - Energy, 5 years).

Jan is Chief Executive Officer of REC Group, the largest European manufacturer of solar panels, with factories in Europe and Singapore and is one of the few fully integrated solar panel manufactures that covers the full supply chain from silicon, cells to panels. As Solar’s Most Trusted, REC is committed to high quality, innovation, and a low carbon footprint in the solar materials and solar panels it manufactures. Headquartered in Norway with operational headquarters in Singapore, REC also has regional hubs in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Jan is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of REC Solar Holdings AS and council member of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS).

Mr Koh is responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of the Singapore and Southeast Asia markets. He has deep knowledge of the energy and water sectors with extensive experience in managing infrastructure-related businesses and a strong financial background. He has held various senior appointments in Sembcorp, including group chief financial officer, chief transformation officer, as well as the head of finance and chief risk officer of its Utilities business. Mr Koh was previously chief financial officer of Power Seraya.

Dr Matthew Rowe,
Council Member SEAS, Head of Department, Power Grids, Asia Pacific, DNV

Sharad leads the Infrastructure Advisory practice, covering project financing, economics & regulatory and major projects advisory. He has over 20 years of experience across infrastructure sectors: power, including renewable energy, water, waste to energy, and LNG; transport; broadband; and urban/industrial infrastructure.

He has extensive experience advising both government and private sector clients across the project life cycle, from conceptualization to financing, implementation and performance improvement. The scope includes bid advisory, business planning, financial modeling, contract structuring, regulatory advisory, risk mitigation, project appraisal and fund syndication.

 

Dr Matthew Rowe is a global leading expert in Power Systems and Energy Storage, a Principal Consultant, and currently the Director of the DNV Asia Pacific Power Grids business.  Prior to his current role Matthew was the Head of Department for Energy Storage across Europe, the Middle East and Africa at DNV.  Matthew is a Chartered Engineer and has a PhD in Power Systems and Energy Storage, he has published in internationally recognised energy journals, and often presents at academic and industrial conferences around the world.  Matthew has lead and worked on over 150 energy storage and power systems projects globally with key industry stakeholders such as System Operators, Regulators, Governments, Utilities, Investors, Developers and Network Operators.

Melvyn is the Founder and Managing Partner of Singapore-based, TRIREC, which is the leading venture capital firm that was incorporated in 2015 with the aim of making a meaningful impact on addressing climate change through a disciplined investment approach by supporting companies and projects that share our belief in a decarbonized and sustainable future. Melvyn was the Deputy Head of Wealth Management for Asia at Schroders where he was responsible for the management and strategic development of the business for the region since 2019 till his retirement in early 2021. Melvyn chaired the Asia Investment Committee where he led the efforts in the formulation of investment philosophies and risk frameworks for the wealth management business. Melvyn sat on the boards of Schroder & Co (Asia) Limited and Schroder & Co (Hong Kong) Limited during his tenure.

Thiagu Visvalingam brings over a decade of expertise in large-scale renewable and thermal energy projects across Asia and Australia. At LYS Energy, he serves as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing efficient operations for a substantial portfolio of Commercial and Industrial solar assets (over 60MWp) across Asia. His key strengths include; proven track record in delivering complex projects and managing geographically dispersed teams, deep understanding of the regional C&I solar market, ensuring clients receive reliable and sustainable energy solutions, strong advocate for sustainable development, actively collaborating to achieve Singapore's clean energy goals and seeks to influence supportive policies and regulations, fostering knowledge sharing within the sustainable energy sector.
