| Description: | Tenders are invited for International Consultant to support the Governance and Participation Unit in the areas of Mine Action and Human Security. Under the direct supervision of the Programme Analyst and Assistant Resident Representative, Head of Governance and Participation Unit, UNDP Vietnam, the International Consultant (IC) will provide Technical Assistance to the Governance and Participation Unit to: Enhance policy dialogue and advocacy: Advocate for the core values of mine action and sustainable development in dialogue with the Government and help identify international good practices and carry out policy related research on selected governance topics. Partnership development: Strategically forge partnerships with national counterparts, multilateral and bilateral donor agencies and NGOs to ensure the sustainability of the Governance and Participation portfolios in the area of mine action and human security and leave no one behind principle. Knowledge sharing and learning: Actively promote the sharing of lessons learned and best practices amongst projects, counterparts, donors and within the UNDP office, build in-depth substantive and process knowledge in the assigned area, and participate in global knowledge networks. |
