Summit Power International Ltd

Summit Power International Limited (“Summit” or “SPIL”) is the largest independent power producer (“IPP”) in Bangladesh and has a 25 year track record which began with SPIL establishing the first independent power plant in Bangladesh in 1998. SPIL now operates 2.3 GW of power generation (including 600 MW under development) and one of two FSRU LNG import terminals in the country. Two-thirds of SPIL’s generation capacity is fuelled by natural gas and the remainder by liquid-fuel.
