Gurīn Energy Pte Ltd is a Singapore-headquartered renewable energy developer focused on the development, ownership, and operation of wind and solar energy projects, as well as storage solutions, throughout Asia. Gurīn Energy was founded in 2021 by the former senior executive team of Sindicatum Renewable Energy, Assaad W. Razzouk, Robert Driscoll and Michael Boardman. Gurīn Energy is backed by Infratil Limited (IFT), a publicly traded energy and infrastructure investment company which has deep experience in the renewable energy sector and currently owns assets in excess of NZ$6.5 billion. IFT has a long-term horizon, and flexibility, providing Gurīn Energy with a competitive advantage in the growing Asian renewables market. As one of the pioneers in renewables investment IFT has a 27-year track record of investment in the sector. Gurīn Energy benefits from synergies with IFT’s portfolio of renewable energy companies which operate multiple technologies across all stages of the renewables value chain, and have dedicated investments in both development platforms and operating assets in the US, Europe, Australasia and Asia. Having developed 3.3GWs across the portfolio since 2018, with 1.8GW operating and under construction assets and a pipeline of over 9GWs, IFT’s commitment to the renewable energy sector is long standing and deep.
