Claire leads the technology & innovation research at BloombergNEF, a strategic research group specializing in covering markets and technologies driving the transition to a low-carbon economy. In this role, Claire oversees BNEF’s coverage of industrial digitalization, and the development of early-stage climate-technology. The work covers the application of technology to the energy and commodity sectors, the capital flow that enables them, and the company innovation strategies emerging around them. Claire’s team manages the BNEF Pioneers program, an annual climate-tech innovation competition.
Claire has held previous roles at BNEF as the head of Digital Industry, the battery and fuel cell analyst for the Advanced Transport team and the next-generation biofuels and chems analyst within the Bioenergy team. Claire was also head of the Applied Research work at BNEF. She regularly presents at conferences, publishes research notes and helps clients navigate the world of start-ups, strategy and technology platforms. Claire holds an MSc from Imperial College’s Sustainable Energy Engineering and a Chemistry BSc from Durham University
Dr Jayson Koh

Dr Jayson Koh is Director at EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy. He focuses on developing co-innovation and testbedding projects with start-ups, SMEs, government agencies and large enterprises.
Jayson has wide experience in early-stage technology development, open innovation, tech investment and IP strategy across many sectors. Prior to Ecolabs, he was heading Technology and Intellectual Property (IP) Strategy for new energy portfolio at SP Group and was concurrently the Project Director for delivering sustainability solutions to large campuses.
He has held senior roles in consulting firm, venture capital fund, university incubator and more recently, he was the Founding Director for an Innovation Centre in APAC region.
Jayson holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and trained in Data Analytics and Agile Framework.

Dr. Peter du Pont is based in Bangkok and has more than 30 years' experience developing sustainable energy and climate programs in the U.S. and Asia. He has carried out assignments related to the design, implementation, and evaluation of clean energy policy and plans, energy and climate finance, and climate change programs.
He was worked in a variety of roles consulting and managing non-profit and private consultancies in development agencies, with a focus on energy efficiency, renewable energy, finance and market incentives, and climate change. He manages an international consultancy, Asia Clean Energy Partners, which provides services and solutions for clients in the development and business sectors.
In his roles as Asia Regional Coordinator for PFAN, he works with the country coordinators across 12 different countries to support the development of a pipeline of quality, bankable clean energy projects through effective mentoring and networking, while also building strong linkages with debt and equity investors seeking opportunities across the region.
Dr du Pont has a master's degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkely, and a Ph.D. in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware.
