Celebrating Two Decades of Sustainable Energy Leadership

Since its establishment in 2006, SEAS has played a pivotal role in advancing Singapore’s sustainable energy sector through collaboration, advocacy and industry development. As we celebrate 20 years of progress, we remain committed to supporting the nation’s energy transition by fostering innovation, strengthening regional partnerships and empowering the sustainable energy community for the years ahead.

“Sustainability, as you know, is the cornerstone of ASEAN’s vision as we endeavour to continue to work with SEAS to build a community that lives in harmony with nature.”

Formation of Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS)

Established in 2006, SEAS was officially launched by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, with Dr Amy Khor, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, serving as Patron.

Since then, SEAS has grown into a community of 250+ members, supported by 6 committees and 3 working groups that provide platforms for industry collaboration, knowledge sharing and engagement. Through networking sessions, roundtables, government dialogues, business missions, standards development and social activities such as beach clean-ups, SEAS continues to strengthen connections across Singapore’s sustainable energy ecosystem.
