The Asosiasi Energi Surya Indonesia (AESI) is an Indonesian non-profit organization founded in 2016 which engaged in the field of solar energy in Indonesia. AESI will work to accelerate the use of solar energy in Indonesia and bring Indonesia to the #GigawattClub solar energy. One of AESI’s strategic programs is to strengthen the #PLTSAtap (rooftop solar PV) ecosystem by encouraging the growth of 1000 #solarpreneurs. The sun is a reflection of #EnergyDemocracy, so all parties can be involved in its efforts.
The BOP (base of pyramid) hub is focused on designing businesses to end poverty. We identify solutions in the energy, food, livelihood and sanitisation areas that can positively impact the 4 billion plus people at the base of the pyramid globally. We do this by venture building, accelerating businesses and incubating startups in order to open markets and create reciprocal opportunities in jobs and business creation for all those involved.
This is also the first time a local private-sector property developer and non-profit organisation have teamed up to create a major training and networking facility on sustainability. The SSA aims to promote a low-carbon economy, resource efficiency, and sustainable practices among businesses and the community, in particular, youths. It will focus on advocacy, building capacity and collaboration, education and training, in formation and resource sharing as well as user engagement.

The Centre for Hydrogen and Carbon Innovations (CHCI) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is a university-level research centre focused on advancing technologies for hydrogen and carbon transformation. It brings together multidisciplinary expertise across science and engineering to develop solutions that support Singapore’s transition towards a low-carbon future.
The Centre was originally established in July 2022 as the Centre for Hydrogen Innovations (CHI), with a total investment of S$25 million, including a S$15 million endowed gift from Temasek and additional funding from NUS. Its advanced 600-square-metre research facility was officially launched in July 2024.
The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) was established as a post-secondary institution in 1992, under the Ministry of Education. ITE is a principal provider of career and technical education and a key developer of national skills certification and standards, skilling Singapore for the future economy. EMA aims to build a clean energy future that is resilient, sustainable and competitive. It regulates Singapore’s electricity, gas and district cooling industries, promotes effective competition, and works to ensure a reliable and secure energy supply.
As Singapore’s Power System Operator, EMA is responsible for maintaining the reliable and stable operation of Singapore’s electricity system. It also supports the development of the energy sector by catalysing innovation, developing manpower capabilities and working with industry and international partners.
EMA is also involved in Singapore’s energy transition, including renewable energy deployment, regional electricity imports, energy storage, grid development and low-carbon alternatives, as Singapore works towards a net-zero future.
The Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) is a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC) established in 1973 to help ensure an adequate and stable supply of oil and petroleum products for the Philippines. Its mandate was subsequently expanded to include the exploration, development and utilisation of the country’s energy resources.
Today, PNOC plays a strategic role in the Philippine energy sector, working to develop energy resources and infrastructure while complementing private-sector efforts to advance new and sustainable energy sources. Its activities include energy investments, asset management, energy projects and industrial infrastructure. PNOC also oversees subsidiaries involved in areas such as oil and gas exploration and renewable energy.
PNOC has also identified sustainable energy development and energy efficiency as part of its broader mandate, supporting the Philippines’ efforts towards energy security and a more sustainable energy future.
The Alliance for Renewable Electrification (ARE) is a global industry association that brings together and supports renewable energy companies and their partners to accelerate private-sector-led renewable electrification in emerging markets. ARE operates across Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America & the Caribbean.
In 2026, ARE expanded its mandate from its previous focus as the Alliance for Rural Electrification to a broader focus on renewable electrification. Its work now covers energy access and productive use, commercial and industrial electrification, grid integration and utility-scale renewable projects.
ARE supports the renewable energy industry through policy advocacy, market intelligence, business development, partnerships, events and investment facilitation. It also works with governments, regulators, investors, development partners and energy users to create opportunities for renewable energy deployment.
